The staff was exceptionally nice. the hotel was in a marvelous and incredible location close to the downtown area. - A market with good international selection and the central train station are nearby.

The staff was really friendly and wonderfully friendly, gave advice about the city. The food was GREAT, drinks were cold.

Location: the hotel was so close to Central station, a market with good international selection, and Sule pagoda & the railway station. My room was incredibly comfortable with shared bathroom and balcony, for instance as described.

The staff here is friendly and welcoming, they were able to help with any issues; I enjoyed the beautiful historic building and my tidy room with its shared bathroom.

The place was spotless, the room was big and pretty quiet. You might have to share a bathroom though. the breakfast was yummy and had a bunch of local options to choose from! 🍳

The location here is great - within walking distance of everything we needed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they offer a free breakfast with plenty of choices available.

Chan Myae was fantastic value for Myanmars high price and lack of standards that we experienced elsewhere. They negotiate fair taxi prices and the ramen shop across the road was brilliant. Well positioned to explore downtown. Comfortable with stairs is a must to stay here.

my previous stay in yangon was great, but my recent stay at a guesthouse in the city center exceeded all expectations. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to provide information and assistance. the room, although small, was clean and had good air conditioning. the shared bathroom and showers were also well-maintained. i especially loved the amazing breakfast they offered. i would definitely choose to stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic location of Chan Myae Guesthouse. It was just a short walk to Sule Pagoda and Bogyoke Aung San Market, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The room may have been smallish, but it was clean and suited my needs perfectly. The staff were very friendly and provided great recommendations for places to eat. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Chan Myae Guesthouse. I would definitely recommend it.

The staff are great, speak good English, and are extremely helpful. They even helped us with our bags and organized taxis for us. The breakfast was tasty and varied, and there was free unlimited purified water. The rooms have been recently renovated and the views are nice.

The room was quite small and didn't have a window, which made it feel a bit cramped. There were also some noise issues, with thin walls that allowed for noise from outside and staff conversations to be heard early in the morning.

This guesthouse is ideally located in an area with lots of colonial era housing, making it a great base for exploring the vibrant streets of downtown. It is also very near to the central train station, allowing for easy transportation around the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with basic amenities such as a refrigerator and writing desk. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay.

The guesthouse could improve on providing more options for breakfast.

Good-sized room with windows for light. Helpful staff carried luggage. Booked bus tickets to Inle Lake. Convenient location for downtown. Clean rooms with amenities.

The staff is helpful, friendly, and always on top of tasks. The location is excellent, with private dorm rooms often available. Clean toilets and showers are a bonus.
